Overview and Story

Fong Brothers Printing Inc. is a family own business that has been around for over 40 years.  As new technology developed and the industry constantly evolving, they needed to update their collateral and refresh their logo.  

I was hired as a graphic designer and worked closely with the marketing team.  A few projects that I worked on were the identity, the large format materials swatch, the company brochure and the creative visuals brochure.

Sketches

The item we worked on was the logo.  They wanted to give it a refresh.  I had some limitations on what I could do with the logo.  The company wanted to keep the same letter design “FB” and apply it to the new logo.  After many iterations we came up with the final one with the final PMS colors.

Products

We produced a company brochure, creative visuals brochure and a creative visuals material swatch.

Lesson Learned

The company was able to produce their own print materials easily but squeezing that into the tight ship production process wasn’t easy.  Customer jobs are printing non stop and need to get shipped.
